Ever wondered what it is like to get a new tattoo? Watch the video to find out!

Tattoos are awesome and if you are ever wondering of getting a piece, it would be great to know the whole process of it. Watch the video or scroll through this picture trail below!

1- Getting ready

Make sure you clean or shave the area you are going to get the piece down on.

Try to avoid sweating or any condition that would make the area unfavorable to the artist.

2- Getting "inked" First, the artist will stencil you with the pre-designed piece and mark the areas using a marker.

After Marking the regions, he will paste the stencil over the points.

Following will be to pen down the areas not imprinted well on to your skin.

The definition of a good artist, is how much effort he takes to make sure the stencil is shown well, so as to minimize any mistakes during the tattoo process.

3- The needles part

Yes, tattoos do hurt. Imagine a few needles poking in and out of your skin repeatedly for a few hours. That is exactly what it is going to feel like.

Watch the video if you have not already to see a cool time lapse of the whole process!

4- Wrapping it up

After each tattoo, you need to make sure there will be a protective layer to help seal the juices in for the next few hours at least.

New tattoos are still open wounds, so do take care of it as you would a new tear in your skin after a fall.

Do not touch or unnecessarily move the tattoo!

Try to limit the usage of the body part that you have just been tattooed on.

Avoid it getting sweat, as pores will open up and ruin the ink. always keep it in a cool temperature and do not touch it until a few hours later.

The tattoo needs to rest, and by giving it unwanted attention, you might just ruin your own ink.

Only remove the wrap after 2-3 hours, depending on your tattoo.

Do watch the video if you have yet to. I hope this gives you a clearer picture on what getting a tattoo is like. if you have any questions or burning queries you need answered, do drop me a line here.
